Geographical

Wonogiri district, with the area of 182236.02 ha, is located in the geographical latitude 7 0 32 'to 8 0 15' and longitude 110 0 41 'to 111 0 18' with the boundaries as follows:


* In the North District boundary with Portsmouth and District Fleet
* In the East: District boundary with the Fleet and Pishin district (East Java).
* In the South: a boundary with Pacitan regency (Timir Java) and the Indian Ocean.
* In the West: a boundary with the Yogyakarta and Klaten regency.




In general, this beriklim tropical regions, which have 2 seasons with the drought and its average temperature 24 0 C to 32 0 C.

Topography

The topography is not flat, the difference between one area with another area to create conditions of natural resources is also different from each other. In almost half of Winton is not too fertile land for agriculture, berbatuan dry and make the population more wanderers (boro).
